Salam literasi.
Semoga semua kita sehat selalu, makin produktif dalam berkarya, semakin syukur nikmat, dan rendah hati.

Lompatan demi lompatan teknologi industri terus berlangsung. Bermula dari mekanisasi  (penggunaan tenaga mesin dan sarana-sarana teknik lainnya untuk menggantikan tenaga manusia dan hewan) di bidang produksi, bahkan menggunakan tenaga uap, lalu beralih ke industrialisasi berbasis tenaga listrik, alat komunikasi, kimia, dan minyak.

Pada tahap berikutnya industri melompat ke fase serbakomputer, serbaotomatis, internet, dan telepon genggam. Sekarang revolusi industri memasuki era cyber physical system (sistem siber-fisik). Ditandai dengan bersatunya beberapa teknologi yang mencirikan era baru, terdiri atas tiga bidang ilmu independen, yaitu fisika, digital, dan biologi.

Lalu kenapa sistem terbaru ini disebut revolusi industri 4.0? Di negara mana pertama munculnya istilah ini, dalam proyek apa, dan apa maknanya? Apa pula ciri-cirinya? Adakah kaitan atau justru tidak antara terma industri 4.0 dengan 007, film spy James Bond yang sangat populer di Inggris itu?

Industri 4.0 diklaim juga sebagai nama tren otomasi dan pertukaran data terkini dalam teknologi pabrik. Istilah ini mencakup sistem siber-fisik, internet untuk semua hal, komputasi awan, dan komputasi kognitif. Industri 4.0 juga menghasilkan "pabrik cerdas" yang salah satu karakteristiknya adalah menciptakan salinan dunia fisik secara virtual.

Lalu, apa implikasi yang akan ditimbulkan industri 4.0 ini bagi sebuah daerah yang angka kemiskinan dan penganggurannya masih tinggi, serta industrinya juga minim seperti halnya Aceh?

Nah, untuk menjawab semua itu, pada pertemuan ke-60, FAMe Banda Aceh kembali mengundang:
